get yourself a blog - don't worry they are free, you can use blogger, or wordpress as a beginner it doesn't really matter although my preference is wordpress, because of the plugins and extra ways you can make it search engine friendly.

Now once you start to earn good money from your online efforts, you can look at hosting your own blogs on your own servers, which gives you total control and much more power, but for now get your free blog.

Step two

head over to clickbank and sign up as an affiliate - again its totally free, and you will be given a clickbank nickname which allows you to sell well over 13000 digital products and receive commissions from 5% right up to 75% - you see there is no need to re-invent the wheel here just look at the different categories and pick 4 or 5 that interest you.

As you gain more experience you can look at different affiliate networks, of which there are hundreds, but again let's keep it simple and just sign up for your free clickbank account.

Step three

This is crucial, critical, and if you don't spend the time to get this right your efforts to earn money online will be doomed - I hope this is clear, this is why 97% of people will fail online

They won't put forward the effort to do keyword research to check if the market, and indeed demand is there.

Ok - lets say you have chosen a golf product called how to improve your golf swing - the first thing you need to do is see how many times that term is searched for in a month, good keywords is a free tool which will give you this info, again as you progress and earn more money online you can invest in highly powerful keyword research software, but for now use the free methods mentioned.

So let's say the term golf swing is searched for 10,000 times per month - and Google has 26,000,000 results for golf swing - the chances of ranking for that term are pretty slim.

But if the search term improving your golf swing is searched for 10,000 times and only has 946,000 results, then that is something we could look at ranking well for - so how we do that.

Step four

We have our blog, we have our product to promote, and we have done our keyword research, now all we need is traffic. there are loads of ways to drive traffic to your sites, but one of the easiest and still one of the best in my opinion is by writing quality articles based around the keyword improving your golf swing, that give the reader value, and in your resource box giving them a reason to click through to your site where you will be preselling the affiliate product.

you see when you first start a blog, it will be new so will have no page ranking, so what we will be doing is using the high ranking article sites, just like this one to get us on the first or second page of Google.
